La région viticole de Rioja
La Rioja, dans le nord de l'Espagne, est surtout connue pour ses vins rouges parfumés aux baies et vieillis en Fût, élaborés à partir de Tempranillo et de Garnacha. C'est sans doute la première région viticole d'Espagne. Elle est certainement la plus célèbre, rivalisant seulement avec Jerez. Les vignobles suivent le cours de l'Èbre sur une centaine de kilomètres entre les villes de Haro et Alfaro.
